The background of the painting is mixed with gold so has a subtle dappled effect. This was my first serious acrylic pour & I love it; the colours, the cell structures, the mood, the energy. The painting attunes to the energy of Gabriel, Angel of the West who interestingly inspires & motivates artists. Interesting in that it should come up at a time I am embarking on changing my career path to embrace my love of art. (As well as being my first serious acrylic pour, this was the first painting I reached for when I began to put my “pours” up for sale). It is a painting that I will never forget, even when it is gone. With paintings like this you have to keep reminding yourself you are painting to share with others. If you kept all your favourite artwork no one would know you or your work which then becomes meaningless
